Great service from the staff. Matthew was really lovely and had a nice laugh with us. The rooms were a bit compact and tight walkway into the room, bathroom door swung open very close to the toilet too. The location is nice next door to the garden centre, we travelled by car but I can imagine it’d be a bit difficult to get around if not in a car. Free parking was a nice touch and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere
On a busy road but set far back so rooms very quiet. No “room with a view” at the rear of the building though. Room had no USB charging sockets. The heater on the wall was adequate to warm the room, but the thermostat went off with a very loud click that kept me awake for a bit and also woke me up a couple of times Most disappointing breakfast I’ve ever had at a premier inn. Mostly lukewarm, beans cold, no scrambled or fried eggs out. Our group weren’t out particularly early or late (on a Friday morning) All of the staff I encountered were lovely and helpful, although nobody at reception when I checked out to bring up the above issues
Stayed last night due to having a funeral to attend, Heather in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant, very professional and very chatty and friendly, I'd spent 3 hours on my own in the car and she was welcome face on my arrival. All staff were great, would definitely stay again if I needed to xx
Had such a pleasant experience. Booked a family room for 2 nights which was perfect for the 4 of us. The staff were so polite, couldn’t do enough for us. The two receptionists we encountered, a lovely gent at breakfast and a young lady serving behind the bar, could not praise them enough and will be visiting again.
Great... but I had to do a bit of DIY to get the shower working. Unfortunately the pull out part that turns bath into shower was broken off, leaving only a small metal nib, which is almost impossible to move with the hands/ fingers. Somehow I had a set of crocodile clips on me that could be used to leverage it up. Other than that the room was clean and tidy. Parking was easy with large car park which is free. Location feels safe and secure. Overall Great just wasn't expecting to need to bring tools in order to have a shower.
Stayed here as a cost effective way to watch the Liverpool game. Easy to get to straight of M53, good motorway links. Great first greeting, didn't have any food as I was in a rush. Hotel was older compared to others, but nice and clean. Exactly what was needed.
Wonderful happy staff, that couldn't do enough for me and my other half. Spotless room, powerful shower and also a nice relaxing bath. Restaurant was nice and clean,food was excellent,Staff were friendly and helpful
Looks a bit run down outside but the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice . Staff were a bit thin on the ground Sunday afternoon, but fortunately for the company, there was an excellent employee who was doing the work of 3 people! Looked after us checking in, with our rooms, working the bar and also cooking breakfast and sitting guest's to their table! Unfortunately I can't remember his name ( Matt ? ) but a very well done
